Demos

Welcome to my demo page, which is my testing ground for interesting features!

The marquee will scroll back and forth in the 70% box.

See button near to left of page. This demo shows how the visibility style attribute can be used.
Also, it shows how a "button" could be created that hides itself, and related text.
Note how the "Gotcha!" is placed to the left of this text, but 50px from the start of the page.
Press me!
Gotcha!
No, hide me!

This demonstrates the use of the z-index and visibility.
Note how these three sections to the left are overlapping (intentionally not in same position). Using the three buttons, each of the sections can be put on top. Also, note that the text seems to merge with the underlying sections. Not that pretty, but we wouldn't overlap, of course.
One Two Three

This is section two. Click "Three" if you want to read on....
This is section three. The end. Or click "One" to start again.

This shows how text
in a small box
might
be clipped,
but the browser
would still be able to
offer the full
content
with scrolling.

Colorful link to demo page : this example demonstrates how mouse events can be used to change e.g. text properties.
